Lessons & Rentals

Sierra-at-Tahoe® Resort is a great place to learn how to ski or snowboard. Our gentle beginner terrain is easily accessible from the base area and our instructors are among the best in the nation. The Learn To Ski/Ride Center offers beginner-specific equipment and our instructors will walk you through the process to make sure everything fits properly so you can focus in your lesson. Group lessons and specialized camps offer a social learning setting while private lessons offer one-on-one attention for individuals or families.

$35 Learn to Ski or Snowboard Online Special

Adults 13+ can learn to ski or snowboard for just $35! This deal-of-the-century includes a 2.5 hour first-timer lesson, all-day equipment rental, and a limited access lift ticket. Available Sunday through Friday, excluding restricted dates, all season long. Must be purchased online 48 hours in advance.
